Many women dream of being swept off their feet, but not like Tammie Baird does it, using the front fender of a moving car. Tammie’s journey into the entertainment industry began as an actress, but she quickly became a top level professional stuntwoman. She took her first squib-hit on film in Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) and loved it and she knew she would continue as a stunt performer.
Known for her intrepid car stunts, wire work, acrobatics and badass martial arts fights, Tammie Baird can do it all while decked out in an evening dress and stilettos. From Mr. & Mrs. Smith to Iron Man; Halo 4; Dexter; Sons of Anarchy; Taken 3, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Fear of the Walking Dead, as a stunt performer Tammie has made the daring commonplace.
Tammie is blessed to have a multi ethnic heritage which allows her to double actresses of almost every race.
At The Artemis Women in Action Film Festival 2017, Danielle Burgio presented Tammie Baird with the Artemis Stunt Icon Award for persistently creating breath-taking art in her stuntwork.
