Tamiko Brownlee was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Her mother is Canadian Japanese and her father is South African. Tamiko grew up with two older brothers and she trained in taekwondo and participated in various sports – volleyball, track & field, softball, and dance. She loves martial arts and she continues to train. Besides her training in taekwondo, she has trained in Muay Thai, Wushu, kickboxing and boxing.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from University of Washington, Tamiko Brownlee moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream of working in the entertainment industry. She has worked on hundreds of projects and is working as a stunt performer, an actress and a motion capture performer. You can see her work in a vast variety of projects from movies to television to commercials to online content and video games.
She is known for her work in Avengers: Endgame (2019), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019).
