Quentin Tarantino’s black comedy film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) is about a faded television star, Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth, (Brad Pitt) who strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry in during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age 1969 Los Angeles.
The film weaves multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age and is the first of Tarantino’s films which is not associated with The Weinstein Company, instead Sony Pictures will be distributing the film.
Produced by Columbia Pictures, Heyday Films and Bona Film Group, the film is an international co-production between the United States and the United Kingdom.
The film includes a huge cast of well known actors including Margot Robbie, James Marsden, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Martin Kove, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Damian Lewis, Mike Moh, Damon Herriman, Lena Dunham, Maya Hawke, Luke Perry in his final performance, and others. Zoe Bell plays the stunt coordinators wife and she is will be stunt coordinating the film as well.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) will premier at Cannes on May 21, 2019 and in theaters on July 26, 2019.
