Lucy Cork displayed a natural athletic ability from a young age. She trained in many different sports, but, at the age of 17, she fell in love with aerial pole because it combined both gymnastic agility and dance movement. She went on to perform and compete professionally in major pole competitions.
Lucy was extremely disciplined and she loved to train hard and she enjoyed learning new skills and this eventually pushed her in the direction of the Stunt Industry. In stunts she could utilize her strong performance background along with her martial arts and gymnastics training.
Lucy Cork spent 3 years training in stunts to complete her all the required stunt disciplines and soon after qualifying, she got an audition for Mission Impossible ‘Rogue Nation’ with the legendary 2nd Unit Director & Stunt Coordinator, Wade Eastwood. She was made part of the core stunt team and has continued to work on major feature films ever since. She has worked on Inferno, Jack Reacher ‘Never Go Back’, Assassin’s Creed, The Mummy, Mission Impossible 6 and many other feature films.
Lucy continues to train hard so she can keep up her existing skills as well as develop new skills to add to her repertoire which strengthen’s and team she works with. She is considered a professional, strong, agile, reliable and hardworking performer, and an all round athlete!
Lucy’s skills include fight skills including swords, knives, sticks etc., Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Warrior Masterclass (Phase 4), Wire Work, Ratchets, Descenders, Water work, Scuba Diving (Dive-master), High Diving, Rock Climbing, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Car work (Sliding 90’s, 180’s, 360’s), Bike Work, and Dance.
Lucy Cork won a SAG award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture for Wonder Woman (2017).
