Jodi Lyn Brockton has one favorite word and it is ACTION, and she has seen lots of action in her career in the stunt and movie business. She has had, and continues a very distinguished carry as a stuntwomen, stunt double, and actress. She also produces and directs.
Jodi grew up with 4 brothers on acres of land in South Lyon Michigan. She rode bikes and dirt bikes, drove snowmobiles, went skiing and skating, and had a natural ability with horses, all of which helped her win numerous awards and accolades in her youth.
She moved to Florida in the early 1990’s and was discovered in a fitness competition by a producer for the American Gladiators. From there she was introduced to the television and film industry.
Jodi Lyn Brockton became successful with feature films such as Wild Things (1998), Instinct (1999), All About The Benjamin’s (2002), The In Crowd (2000), The Crew, The Disciples (1999), just to name a few, and television series such as Maximum Bob (1998), Sins of the City (1998), Deepwater Horizon (2016), and Space Samurai: Oasis.
She moved to Los Angeles to further her career and she enjoyed continued success in film and television. She worked on award winning shows such as ER, CSI, Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives, Dexter, The Mentalist and many more. Her film work continue with credits such as 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Serenity (2005), Surrogates (2009) and Law Abiding Citizens (2009).
In her career Jodi Lyn Brockton has stunt doubled many beautiful women such as Laura Allen, Melinda Clarke, Sophia Vergara, Kelly Preston, Kate Luyben, Sarah Paulson, Carrie Ann Moss, Radah Mitchell and, on many occasions, Denise Richards and most recently Kate Hudson.
Jodi recently moved to Louisana, known as Hollywood South, and she continues her career as a producer and director. She say’s “The incentives, beautiful locations and amazing people are what makes Louisiana the most viable place to film.”
Jodi continues to work as a stunt-woman and actress In such films as Pitch Perfect 2, Don’t Mess With Texas, Jurassic World and the Runner. She is passionate about film making and is working her magic behind the camera writing, producing and directing. Ms. Brockton was the 2nd unit director on the short film “Abigail” and is working on her new baby Glitteratzi!
Jodi lives in the New Orleans area with her son.
