Heidi Pascoe was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She began performing in a high diving show at the age of 18. She became a professional high diver and was the first woman to win the Acapulco Cliff Diving Championship, held in Mexico, when she was 24. After moving to California, she began doing stunts for film and television in 2002. In 2011, she won her first Taurus World Stunt Award for High Work for her performance in Predators (2010). In 2010, she also won a SAG award for her work doubling Anna Paquin on True Blood. She has also been nominated for 3 other SAG awards for best stunt ensemble.
In a relatively short period of time, she has amassed over 120 credits in films and TV. One of her specialties is the rare willingness and ability to perform high falls (usually 100 feet or more), including a fall from 11 stories up!
Some of her credits include A Star is Born (2018) Wrinkle in Time (2018), American Woman (2018), Fantastic Four (2015), and television series Fear the Walking Dead (2015), Bones, CSI, and NCIS.
The Artemis Women in Action Film Festival 2018 honored Heidi Pascoe with the Artemis Stunt Warrior Award for demonstrating that women can achieve stunts that are both breath-taking and death-defying.
