Women In Stunts is dedicated to women in action, the stunt performers who make action films and TV so exciting. Women stunt performers train to be the best they can be and we support and promote each and every woman in the Entertainment industry.

Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures

In 1967 a group of women joined together to let the film and television industry know that they needed "women to stunt double, women!" Today, the Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures has 32 members and is growing. Together members have hundreds of major motion picture and television credits.

Noby Arden

After a successful career in the circus, Noby Arden pursued a career in stunts. She has stunt doubled for many actresses including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rose McGowan, Alicia Silverstone and others. She has worked on Rush Hour 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2 and 3, Star Trek: Nemesis, and National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Jessica Medina

Jessica Medina is a stuntwomen and an action actress who has trained in the martial arts, as a distance running, aerobics and military tactics. Her work includes the feature films The Fate of the Furious (2017) and Domestic Seduction (2017), and TV shows including Madam Secretary (2016), and Luke Cage (2018) MacGyver (2016-2018).

Melissa McCarthy

Actress Melissa McCarthy destroyed all misconceptions that women can’t be funny and take on leading roles in action films. She did both in The Heat (2013), Spy (2015) and Ghostbusters (2016) and Superintelligence (2019) and helped re-invent action comedy, buddy movies, and comedy sci-fi blockbusters.

Many women dream of being swept off their feet, but not like Tammie Baird does it, using the front fender of a moving car. Tammie's journey into entertainment began as an actress, but she quickly became a top level stuntwoman known for her car stunts, wire work, acrobatics and martial arts fights.

Jennifer Caputo amazed audiences with her daredevil racing stunts in the TV show Fastlane (2002-2003) and with her work in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Next (2007), and Thor (2011). In The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) she was stunt double for Emma Stone and in Heist (2015) for Gina Carano.

Artemis Women in Action Film Festival 2017 Honors Female Action Stars

The Artemis Women in Action Film Festival 2017 honors Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Cynthia Rothrock, Gina Carano and Luci Romberg at their next festival in April 2017. “Our Artemis Women in Action Film Festival seeks to redefine the image of women, not just on screen, but in culture as well,” said Melanie Wise.

Nayah Murphy

Nayah Murphy began working in the entertainment industry with her first stunt job, as a stunt double for the female clone of Wolverine known as Laura Kinney or X23 in Logan (2017).She performed fight scenes, did falls and many other stunts and played one of the Mutant Child characters in the film.

Stuntwoman Cassandra McCormick was born on September 28, 1966 in Huntington Beach California as Cassandra Lynn Crider. She is known for her work on Into the Storm (2014), Smokin' Aces (2006) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Takers (2010). She is married to animal trainer John R.
