The Taurus World Stunt Awards are held mid-year every year in Los Angeles. The award ceremony honors stunt performers in movies. The Taurus Awards deciding committee was formed in 2000 and the first awards were given out in 2001. In the tradition of Hollywood’s finest awards presentations, the best stuntwomen and men in the entertainment industry will be recognized for their extraordinary performances in feature films of 2001.

About the Film: A frustrated office worker learns that he is the son of a professional assassin and that he shares his father’s superhuman killing abilities.
The Stunt: A woman races through city streets to avoid a truck. Stunt woman drives a Dodge Viper stick shift with 4th pedal e-brake. A 360 degree spin was done in 3 pieces. She did a 180 degree and a reverse 180 degree with a stunt man standing in the center of the parking lot. Then a shot with the actors in the car on castors was added. CGI was used to incorporate actors into the sequence. The chase includes the Dodge Viper jumping 8′ high and 55′ long with no hang harness. The Dodge Viper driving on top of the bus was CGI.
