The Taurus World Stunt Awards are held mid-year every year in Los Angeles. The award ceremony honors stunt performers in movies. The Taurus Awards deciding committee was formed in 2000 and the first awards were given out in 2001. In the tradition of Hollywood’s finest awards presentations, the best stuntwomen and men in the entertainment industry will be recognized for their extraordinary performances in feature films of 2001.

About the Film: Brian O’Conner, back working for the FBI in Los Angeles, teams up with Dominic Toretto to bring down a heroin importer by infiltrating his operation.
The Stunt: A car and two tow trucks follow a tanker, trying to steal the tanker’s cargo. Stunt woman walks on top of tanks to release them until the tanker driver realizes he’s being robbed. Tanker then maneuvers and goes over a cliff, while cars try to avoid crashing into the tanker.

About the Film: A successful asset manager, who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage. But when a temp worker starts stalking him, all the things he’s worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.
The Stunt: Two stunt women engage in a fight that moves from room to room, being thrown into walls and down stairs. Fight ends when the attic floor collapses and woman falls through.
