The Taurus World Stunt Awards are held mid-year every year in Los Angeles. The award ceremony honors stunt performers in movies. The Taurus Awards deciding committee was formed in 2000 and the first awards were given out in 2001. In the tradition of Hollywood’s finest awards presentations, the best stuntwomen and men in the entertainment industry will be recognized for their extraordinary performances in feature films of 2001.

About the Film: Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s homage to exploitation double features in the 60s and 70s with two back-to-back cult films that include previews of coming attractions between them.
The Stunt: High speed chase featuring a stunt woman on the hood of the car. Female driver reaches high speeds and receives hits from another car, only one shot shows a dummy on the hood. Once the stunt woman climbs back into the car, chase continues with a reverse 180, double car jump and hits tail end of car causing the other car to turn over.
